Canal Trail
Free and open to the public year-round. No hotdog stands. No water slides. Just the canal, the towpath, and the open air.
What awaits you at Lock 60
Schuylkill Canal Park encompasses 60 acres of land and waterways along the historic Schuylkill Canal in Mont Clare, Pennsylvania. The park is managed by Montgomery County and maintained by SCA volunteers. It is free for everyone to enjoy.
Start at the Association's large information kiosk at Lock 60, which provides trail maps, Association brochures, a bird list, a botanical inventory, directions for a nature walk, and information about membership and upcoming programs.
